Client Concentration Risk Calculator
The Client Concentration Risk Calculator scores how exposed your freelance income is to losing a single client. You enter the percentage of revenue from your largest client, the percentage from your top three clients combined, your total annual revenue, and the months of runway you would have if the top client left tomorrow. The calculator returns a concentration risk score, the dollars at risk, and a risk-adjusted income figure. Use it quarterly. No single client should exceed twenty-five percent of revenue, and once any one account crosses fifty percent you are running a job inside a freelance shell, not a diversified business, with all the downside that the wrong phone call can deliver.
